Men!!

Todas nosotras nos hemos quedado alguna vez pasmadas observando a cualquiera de estos adonis de la belleza masculina. El fin de semana pasado, mis amigas y yo hicimos un maratón de películas antiguas de toda la vida como Arsénico por compasión, Con faldas y a lo loco y ¡Qué bello es vivir!. Si habéis visto estas películas, los nombres de Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, James Stewart, Tony Curtis, Clark Gable, Henry Fonda, William Holden, Humphrey Bogart, etc. Os sonarán bastante.
Unos con pinta de duros, otros más dulces, pero eso sí, vaqueros o condes, todos eran increíblemente elegantes actuando y elaborando su papel de caballeros.

We all women know that there are some men that just can´t go around being unnoticed. Last wekend my friends and I spend the day watching old black and white movies, films like Arsenic and old lace, Some like it hot or It´s a wonderful life. Some men like Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, James Stewart, Tony Curtis, Clark Gable, Henry Fonda, William Holden, Humphrey Bogart are those who have delighted us with their movies and have got our attention through their own way of being a gentleman. It does not matter if they have a role to play as a prince or as a cowboy. They all know how to be THE MAN!

Breakfast... almost at Tiffany´s

La comida más importante del día es el desayuno, ya lo dice el refrán: Desayuna como un rey, come como un duque y cena como un mendigo. Yo ya he descubierto que no tiene nada que ver desayunar unos cereales en casa o una tostada en el bar enfrente del trabajo que irte a uno de estos rincones, madrugar y pedirte los mejores sabores para tu paladar acompañados de un libro, periódico, revista o música. Y lo cierto es que está a solo unos minutos del alcance de cualquiera que viva o visite Madrid. Si todavía no conocéis estos exquisitos desayunos, os animo a que los probéis.

The most important meal during the day, as many people say is breakfast. I´ve realised that if I have to eat an importat meal during the morning, why would I do it always at home, or at the bar in front of my office? It´s way better to get up earlier and go to one of these amazing places to relish one of the delicious things they offer to eat. I recommend you to got and bring a book, newspaper, magazine or music. And this is noto ver because all these places are even closer tan we could think, if you live in Madrid or you are planning to come, don´t hesitate and enjoy the most important meal in one of these cool bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

London in Winter

Buenos días a todos.

En este gris y melancólico día tras haber vuelto de un maravilloso fin de semana en la gran ciudad de Londres con mi novio visitando a mi hermana, os traigo algunas de las fotos que hice de los rincones más chulos de la ciudad, Acabo de descubrir que mi parte preferida de Londres es, sin duda, Candem Town. Qué pasada de sitio. Qué mercadillo, qué ropa tan genial. No podía parar de rebuscar y rebuscar entre las cosas. Había tanto que ver, tanto que andar. Ha sido demasiado genial para explicarlo, tenéis que verlo. Otro sitio alucinante es Little Venice, cerca de Lancaster Gate, os recomiendo que vayáis algún día, está medio escondido y es alucinante. No pude resistirme a ir a ver Lés Miserables, vaya musical, solo puedo decir que fue EXCEPCIONAL. Y las pequeñas tiendas del Soho y las mini pastelerías francesas, fantástico. Espero que os gusten las fotos.

Good morning to everyone!

In this grey and melancholic day after coming back from the great city of London where my little sister is living and with the company of my boyfriend, I want to show you some pictures that I took during the trip. I´ve discovered that my favorite part of London, is clearly Candem Town. What a place, what a market, what a beautiful things. I couldn´t stop looking around, walking throught the streets and the clothes. It´s too cool to explain, you must see it. It was raining all the weekend thouth, but still, wonderful. We went to Hyde Part, and to the Soho. I´d never been there and there are so many Little shops and pretty french bakeries. There is a place, not very known that we discovered and it was lovely, its called Little Venice, closet o Lancaster Gate. It´s so  beautiful.

Also I definately recomend you to go seeing Lés Miserábles. Just one Word to this musical… EXCEPTIONAL! For today, this is all. I hope you like the photos!
